Allow three to four months. That sounds like a lot, but it spreads across a handful of appointments: the first conversation about occasion, venue and season, the choice of cloth and lining, the measurements, then the fittings. How many of those it takes does not matter – they are included, and we keep adjusting until the fit is right. The buffer is generous on purpose: if you want a change four weeks before the wedding, you should be able to have it without a rush.

It rarely stops at the groom. Groomsmen in the same cloth but a different cut, matching pocket squares, shoes that belong to the outfit – a wedding party that reads as one without looking like a uniform. That only works if everyone is in from the start, which is why we like to know at the first appointment who else is being dressed.
